Giving feedback is one of the most challenging aspects of teaching writing. This workshop helps teachers move from corrections toward feedback that supports development.

Participants explore ways to comment on content, organisation, phrasing, and language without overwhelming the learner.

We will analyse samples, compare types of feedback, and discuss how to make feedback clearer, more achievable, and more motivating.

Practical frameworks help teachers structure feedback in a way that respects the student’s voice while guiding improvement.

The aim is to make feedback an opportunity for growth rather than discouragement.
