March 20-22, 2026
This hands-on course is intended for experienced laparoscopic surgeons who wish to expand technical capabilities, protect against neural complications, gain a better understanding of pelvic autonomic and somatic neuroanatomy, both for nerve-sparing purposes and to take the first steps into the groundbreaking field of Neuropelveology. This multidisciplinary course aims to enhance comprehension of nerve-sparing surgical techniques, prevention and treatment of chronic pelvic and pudendal pain, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of intrapelvic nerve entrapment.
This course is recommended for gynecological, urologic, and colorectal/GI surgeons, including MIS and oncologic surgeons. This course has shared content with Course 3 (Clinical and Procedural Implications of Pelvic, Hip, Spine, and Core Neuroanatomy for Chronic Pelvic, Perineal, and Radicular Pain), which focuses on somatic nerves, as well as extensive hands-on laparoscopic nerve dissections and advanced content on autonomic pelvic neuroanatomy and COURSE 4 (Clinical and Surgical Implications of Pelvic, Hip, Spine, and Core Neuroanatomy for the Hip and Spine Surgeon).
The course didactic strategy encompasses comprehensive visual lectures and companion syllabus, interspersed with live dissection demonstrations by experts, followed by mentored hands-on reproduction of surgical techniques by the attendants in the lab. Stations are limited to two attendants per cadaver and two mentors for every three stations.
