Advanced Anatomy & Surgical Techniques for Management of Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis (Spanish)
7:00 AM-5:00 PM
March 23-25, 2026
This hands-on course is designed to bring your laparoscopic surgical skills for Endometriosis and other deeply infiltrating pelvic neoplasms to an advanced level. Attendees gain hands-on practice in autonomic nerve-sparing techniques, management of bowel urinary tract and diaphragmatic endometriosis. Participants will expand their repertoire for which cases are possible, obtaining laparoscopic skills on 5 different bowel endometriosis techniques (shaving, nodulectomy, and linear, discoid and segmental resection), as well as partial cystectomy, ureteric shaving, reanastomosis and reimplantation. They will also improve their ability to protect against neural and visceral complications, gaining a better understanding of pelvic autonomic and somatic neuroanatomy.
The course didactic strategy encompasses comprehensive visual lectures and companion syllabus, interspersed with live dissection demonstration by experts, followed by mentored hands-on reproduction of surgical techniques by the attendants in the lab. Stations are limited to two attendants per cadaver and two mentors for every three stations.
