Lesson planning is more than writing stages. It is the intentional organisation of aims, outcomes, language focus, and learner engagement.

In this workshop, participants explore the principles of effective planning based on communicative approaches and teaching cycles.

We will examine how clear aims guide choices, how to structure lessons that balance receptive and productive work, and how to integrate practice stages that build real communicative ability.

Teachers learn to plan efficiently, using frameworks rather than templates, and to adapt plans responsively during lessons.

Practical examples and discussion help participants reflect on time management, task sequencing, and the use of materials.

The session ends with guidelines that teachers can apply immediately in their own classrooms.
